Leeds Loves Food Festival

The Cookery Theatre Company are delighted to be supporting The Leeds Loves Food Festival again this year. Our Demo-Station live cookery kitchen will be situated in Merion Centre on Friday 6th June 2014.

Showing off their produce and culinary skills will be a number of food retailers and producers from the Centre.

Events start 10:00 am on Friday. Why not pop down a see some tasty treats being created before your very eyes.

Returning for its 8th year. The Leeds Loves Food Festival is the culmination of the Leeds Festival of Food and Drink. Leeds Loves Food is put on in association with Asda.

Sited in Millennium square the Deliciously Yorkshire area is a great attraction within the show arena drawing in people to discover the best in locally sources, high quality food and drink!

The Leeds Food and Drink Festivals grand finale will be the annual three day Yorkshire Food and Drink Show in Millennium Square between the 6th – 8th June. If you’re passionate about Yorkshire produce there’ll be a heavenly combination to stimulate the senses. There’ll be live cookery demonstrations from local chefs, artisan food specialists exhibiting delicious produce, traditional real ales, Pimms and cocktail bars and some of Yorkshire’s finest restaurants serving their signature dishes. In addition there’ll be the sizzle of delicious street food dishes from around the world being cooked right in front of you.

  1. Sounds as if it’s going to be a really interesting event. Anniversary of D- day too – 70 years. Wonder if chefs will be embracing this. Hope you have yet another successful event.
